We have found in our experience that the consumer suffers in that situation . What we have done is turned the table and are working with Mortgage Brokers whom are offered discounted interest rates from the banks. We have told these brokers in no uncertain terms that they are to pass these savings on to our clients. The logic is simple, we are telling the Brokers that you can't make a lot of money doing a refinance for one of our clients but you will be successful working with many of them. We will not work with just any Mortgage Broker, we require a minimum of 5 years experience in the industry as well as talking with past clients to make sure the Broker has an untarnished reputation. Our goal as a company is to make sure that our clients are treated fairly and with respect. Refinancing your home is an important decision and you want to know you will be dealing with a professional person that has your best interest in mind. There are plenty of individuals in this industry that fit the bill, but unfortunately there are plenty of sharks as well.
